Law firm Gateley plc has announced the promotion of a corporate lawyer in its Reading office. Sarah Souter has been made associate and 30 promotions have been made nationally, spanning Gateley's corporate, construction, employment, pensions, regulatory, real estate and commercial dispute resolution teams.
Gateley’s London office also saw three promotions. James Jaffa and Joanne Welch (commerce technology & media) made associate and Nadine Herman (restructuring) made senior associate.
Christopher Avery, head of Gateley's Reading office, commented: “After an incredibly busy year, it’s great to announce these promotions. Each individual has contributed to the success of the firm and their promotion is very much deserved.”
These promotions mark the end of a busy financial year for Gateley, in which the firm has hired 10 new partners, six of which are based in Reading and include; Andrew Peddie, Nicola Kirk, Owen Reynolds, Patrick Long, Paul de Vince and John Downs, joining corporate, restructuring, private client, banking & finance, commerce technology & media, and real estate, respectively.
