Law firm Clifton Ingram LLP has appointed Ami Bhatt as a solicitor in its corporate services department.
Bhatt joins the Thames Valley team from a national law firm and has expertise in acquisitions and disposals, management buyouts and buyins, private equity investments, bank financing transactions and general corporate and commercial advice.
She has significant experience advising owner-managed businesses on a variety of commercial legal areas including contracts, joint ventures, shareholder agreements and articles of association.
She also has in-depth expertise in a number of industry sectors, including IT, telecoms and health where she has advised on complex transactions, takeovers and acquisition financing.
After gaining a chartered accountant qualification and a bachelor of commerce and LLB qualification in India, Bhatt also graduated in 2006 with an LLM commercial law qualification from the University of Sheffield.
