Clifton Ingram LLP Solicitors, the Thames Valley law firm, has appointed Ashley Barnes as senior associate in its commercial property department.

Barnes brings with him over 25 years’ experience acting for house builders, commercial landlords and tenants and corporates and their property portfolios.

During the early part of his career he worked in a city firm where his main clients included a national plc house builder for which he was involved in acquisitions and subsequent estate development and plot sales.

From 2003 onwards he has worked for a regional law firm continuing his work for the house building industry and a well-known timber merchant, and specialising in freehold and leasehold and business sales and acquisitions for local businesses and individuals.

Managing partner Tim Read said: “We are really pleased to have Ashley on board. In joining our team, he will increase the expertise and capacity we can provide to our ever-expanding portfolio of commercial property clients.”
