Boyes Turner has won a highly commended certificate for Excellence in International Legal Services at the prestigious Law Society Awards, now in their 11th year.

For the award, the Thames Valley firm had to demonstrate the contribution it had made globally and to showcase innovation in the provision of legal services internationally. The category only recognises law firms with an innovative approach to the delivery of legal services in today’s international marketplace.

This commendation underlines Boyes Turner's position as the destination of choice for international technology businesses entering the UK and establishing their headquarter operations in the UK for the wider EMEA market.

Mark Blunden, head of commercial and technology at Boyes Turner, who also leads the firm’s international and foreign direct investment team, said: “This great result is a testament to our constant focus on helping clients achieve objectives internationally – we work with multinationals, overseas companies and the UK subsidiaries of foreign companies requiring support to grow in the UK, across Europe, and further afield. I’m very proud of everyone who contributed to this, and glad that clients can see the emphasis that we place on being proud of our international outlook, while never forgetting our roots in the Thames Valley.”

Joe Egan, president of the Law Society of England and Wales, said: "I want to congratulate all those who work at Boyes Turner for their extraordinary efforts and commitment to excellence."
