Philippa Robinson, a recent finalist at the Solent Deals Awards, has been appointed to the new SME advisory desk at Liberum.
She has a wealth of experience in lead advisory for deals in the SME sector, and joins Liberum from Wilkins Kennedy Corporate Finance where she was corporate finance director with responsibility for the western region.
She said: "I hope to use my links with the Solent to introduce local businesses to Liberum clients as possible acquisition targets, but also to focus on winning new work from outside London.
"Liberum was started in 2007 to provide a different style of broking, and the addition of the SME desk continues the theme of offering an innovative and proactive service.
"Liberum is an entrepreneurial business with excellent client service based on long-term relationships, which was why I identify with the team already in place and see this as a fabulous opportunity to build on my past success."
