Entries have been arriving thick and fast for the 2015 Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards (TVBMA), and with the deadline now extended to October 2, there’s still time to enter.

Entries so far have been received from companies across multiple sectors, including: technology, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, charities and many more.

The judges plan to visit a number of entrants to gain more knowledge of the factors behind their success stories, and will then meet to decide on the shortlisted businesses and organisations that will go through to the grand final.

The entry and judging process of the 21st TVBMA will culminate in a gala awards dinner to be staged in Reading – at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium – on November 19, and eight awards categories will be contested by the very best businesses from across the region.

These are:
Business of the Year  – sponsored by Pitmans
Management Team of the Year  – sponsored by NatWest
Dynamic Business of the Year  – sponsored by Deloitte
Best Company to Work For  – sponsored by Hays
SME of the Year  – sponsored by James Cowper Kreston
Green Business  – sponsored by Grundon Waste Management
Best Use of Technology  – sponsored by Redwood Technologies
Charity of the Year  – sponsored by James Cowper Kreston

The TVBMA evening remains one of the key networking opportunities for businesses in the region. This year's special guest speaker is renowned television news anchor Huw Edwards, and the event will be presented by award-winning journalist Nadine Dereza.

TVBMA supports Berkshire Community Foundation. Since 1985, BCF has been working with charities and local voluntary groups that tackle need at a grassroots level in our local communities, with a particular focus on vulnerable people within groups such as the elderly, young, disabled, socially disadvantaged and those who are unwell.

Winners of TVBMA in 2014 included: Ridgeway, FISCAL Technologies, Cofely GDF Suez, Furniture Village, Premier Group Recruitment, Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice, BDO, Retail Marketing, Accumuli Security, Westcoast and WSH.
