Reading Safe Space deal overseen by Boyes Turner

Thames Valley law firm Boyes Turner has advised Reading Street Pastors on the acquisition of a facility to become a new Reading Safe Space.
Reading Street Pastors are part of a national network of trained volunteers from local churches supporting their communities.
The opening of the new Reading Safe Space facility will offers a place to go for those looking for a listening ear or practical help.
It will also be the home of First Stop, which hosts paramedics from South Central Ambulance service to help take pressure off the busy local Emergency Departments.

The Boyes Turner team was led by Nick Carter, Head of Commercial Property, advising on the charity acquiring a commercial lease of the Minister Office in Chain Street, Reading near the Reading Minster Church of St Mary the Virgin.
Chris Jefferis, Treasurer at Reading Street Pastors, said: “The new Safe Space means Reading Street Pastors have a permanent location to help us support those needing a listening ear or a safe place to go here in Reading town centre.
