Sarah Lawrence of Goringe Accountants has been promoted to technical director, taking on a senior management role in the team.

Lawrence joined the Theale-based accountancy practice in January 2013, and is a top-level specialist in financial analysis and investigation, with diverse sector experience of technology, fund management and horse studs. She will maintain an overview of the client management departments, offering advice and adding technical accounting input where necessary.

She commented: “I’m very excited to be taking on this new challenge, assisting in the smooth running and growth of the practice. As well as retaining my portfolio of statutory accounts clients, I’ll have overall responsibility for resource management and supporting each of the account managers in their roles.”

The rationale behind Lawrence’s promotion is for her to assist founder-director Nicky Goringe Larkin in management of the practice. She’ll optimise workflow, manage the client management teams and work closely with the operations team to ensure every piece of work is delivered to the expected high standard.

Goringe Larkin summed up: “I have high aspirations for the growth of Goringe Accountants and part of that means maintaining an exceptionally high-quality service. With Sarah overseeing the running of the client management departments, I can happily focus on my own portfolio of clients and on winning new business. I think Sarah’s promotion is the start of a new chapter for Goringe Accountants.”
