FISCAL Technologies, the leading provider of accounts-payable forensics software, has announced the appointment of Peter Fortune as chairman of the board.
With over 20 years’ experience managing and executing expansion strategies in the financial technology industry, he is well placed to help accelerate the company's growth.
Fortune directed the growth expansion of Checkpoint Holdings, a corporate payment solutions business, helping to grow it into the UK’s market leader. He then led its sale to NASDAQ-listed Bottomline Technologies, remaining at the company as president for Europe and COO. In this role, he successfully integrated five acquisitions in five years and helped grow annual revenues by 100% to $150 million.
Fortune said of his new appointment: “I am very excited to join FISCAL at such an important time in the company’s development. Already an established leader, there are still significant growth opportunities ahead.”
Griffiths, CEO of FISCAL Technologies, said: “Peter is a tremendous addition to the board. He is a proven industry leader, who will be joining a team of like-minded individuals to ensure we have both the strategy and execution to continue the success of FISCAL as the de facto standard for protecting organisational spend in EMEA and the US.”
