NatWest has announced its support of Portsmouth civil engineering business A&A Groundworks, providing a funding package to support the business’s expansion strategy.

Established in 2001 by directors Graham Parrett and Andy Howe, the privately owned business has grown steadily to become one of the regions leading ground works and civil engineering contractors.

With business on the increase, Parrett and Howe were seeking to implement an expansion strategy, starting with the relocation of the business’s main office from Portsmouth to Fareham, giving the company space to grow and expand their operations.

Andy Williams, director of Business Development and Kevin Rowsell Property Finance manager from NatWest in Portsmouth, worked closely with Parrett and Howe to provide a £365,000 financial package to allow the business to implement its expansion plans and purchase new premises at Fort Wallington Industrial Estate in Fareham.

Parrett and Howe said: “This is a very exciting time for our business. The move to our new site will allow us to take forward our growth strategy, allowing us to increase our business without compromising the exceptional level of service our business is recognised for. My thanks go to Andy and Kevin for the expert advice and support they have provided to our business.”

Andy Williams said: “Having worked closely with Graham and Andy, we were able to clearly understand their current and future business strategies and put in place a financial package to allow them to achieve their objectives. The team at A&A Groundworks have worked hard to develop a great reputation in the region and we are proud to be able to support them to continue to grow and develop their business.”
