PipeHawk subsidiary agrees £0.7m contract with fellow Hants firm Stannah
QM Systems, a subsidiary of Hampshire-based PipeHawk plc, has signed a contract with Andover stairlift manufacturer Stannah UK to deliver a bespoke fully automated welding system.
The project will generate revenue of around £0.7 million and is due for completion in nine months.
A combination of robotic welding and automatic variant setup will be deployed to create a wide variety of fully automated welded assemblies.
They’ll enable Stannah to reduce build time and improve first build quality in a move it hopes will significantly increase its output over time.
