A new partner with expertise in the health and care sector has been appointed to the commercial services division of Thames Valley law firm Blake Morgan.
Gayle Curry, who is based at Blake Morgan’s Oxford offices, brings with her 23 years of experience in the health and social care sector.
Curry is effectively making a return to the firm, having worked for Morgan Cole earlier in her career. Blake Morgan was formed by the merger of Morgan Cole with Blake Lapthorn last year.
She has led on numerous high-profile matters for the department of health, health and social care commissioners and commissioning support services, the NHS and independent sector providers.
In addition to working as a non-executive director in the NHS for three years, she has also completed a number of secondments, including one to the department of health’s commercial and commissioning directorates.
Her appointment comes as Blake Morgan continues to grow and strengthen its teams across its key sectors following the merger.
Mike Wilson, Blake Morgan regional senior partner for the Thames Valley, said: “I am delighted to announce Gayle’s appointment. She brings extensive expertise and experience to the health and care team at Blake Morgan as the firm continues to invest and grow.”
