Oxford: Accountant Shaw Gibbs acquires Bicester firm John Hine & Co

One of Oxford’s leading independent accountancy firms, Shaw Gibbs, has acquired Bicester-based firm John Hine & Co. 

Shaw Gibbs provides accounting and financial advice to businesses and individuals throughout the UK, and has not only expanded its business – it has stepped further into the field of polo.

John Hine, who built his practice through client service and quality of advice with a wide range of businesses, has also developed expertise in the field of polo, advising a number of polo clubs and professional polo players. Shaw Gibbs says it is looking forward to working with Hine to further develop this niche area of the practice and is already on-track to develop the service offering further.

Hine will work with the partners and team at Shaw Gibbs to ensure clients experience a successful transition, he said,
