One of the UK’s leading specialists in data management and compliance has been appointed by Moorcrofts LLP to head its new compliance division – Orcro Compliance Services.

Tash Whitaker has joined Moorcrofts from Dun & Bradstreet, where she worked in various roles for over 15 years, most recently as a compliance consultant and subject matter expert and previously as data and operations leader – running data operations for multiple partner markets. During a six-year break from Dun & Bradstreet, she worked at Cisco as global programs manager in channels risk and compliance, and as a business data architect, responsible for the CRM system and customer data transformation.

Whitaker is highly experienced in business process, operations management, analytics, global data management and compliance solutions, and has a well-established reputation in this area. She also holds an ICA advanced certification in business compliance. This breath of knowledge and experience will allow her to lead the team and launch the latest compliance innovation for clients of Moorcrofts.

Moorcrofts new compliance division, Orcro, will work hand-in-hand with its specialist data-protection lawyers, to provide project management and compliance expertise ensuring all clients receive a full end-to-end service. This means Moorcrofts will not only provide the legal advice but will also provide the practical services necessary to deliver complete compliance within a firm. The new compliance team can draw on skills in implementation, training, documentation, systems and assessment, either in-house, or by partnering with best-in-breed third party companies.

Andrew Katz, CEO and IT partner, said: “Tash brings with her a wealth of global experience within business data and
compliance solutions, which will ensure our clients have the best access to expert compliance advice and service offering. We are thrilled to have Tash on board to lead Moorcroft’s new compliance division – Orcro, which will not only guide clients through the whole process of getting to compliance, but will ensure that they have everything they need to maintain that compliance as their business, and the compliance landscape develops.”

Tash Whitaker said: “I am looking forward to working alongside Andrew Katz and leading the next phase of Moorcrofts’ growth through the new division, Orcro. It is exciting to be involved in such a unique and comprehensive compliance offering, combining both legal advice and practical implementation, to ensure businesses achieve the level of compliance they need to drive growth and success.”
