Marlow: Chambers and Partners rank Moorcrofts as a leading law firm in the region

Corporate law firm, Moorcrofts has again been recommended for its expertise in Corporate/M & A and Information Technology in the Thames Valley region, by one of the most influential and esteemed legal directories, Chambers & Partners UK.

The new 2020 guide, identifies and ranks the most outstanding law firms from across the UK by undertaking independent research with clients and peers.

Alongside, the recognition of practice areas, it also recommends a number of ‘leading individuals’ in the firm, highlighting joint managing partner and head of technology, Andrew Katz in Band 1, stating: “Andrew Katz is recommended for technology contracts of all kinds and is one of the country’s leading experts on the law concerning open source,” also “An industry expert in the open source software world,” and “One of the most knowledgeable people in the country on open source.”

Employment Partner, Matt Jenkin is also recommended as a leading individual, stating: “Matt Jenkin earns considerable praise for his employment practice and frequently acts on cases concerning allegations of discrimination and unfair dismissal. His experience includes assisting with the TUPE aspects of acquisitions and advising on redundancies, in addition to handling a mix of HR issues,” also “Matt explains the law, as well as his advice, in a very easy-to-understand way and articulates the management of risk in a way that gives you confidence in your employment and business decision making.”
