Southampton wedding venue Three Choirs Vineyards bought in management buyout
Southampton Wedding Venue, the Three Choirs Vineyards has been subject to management buyout and renamed The Wickham Estate.
The Southampton vinyard and wedding venue was purchased by married couple, James and Samantha Davies at a cost of £1.1million. The Davies secured the finance from Lloyds Bank.
The 40 acre vinyard produces 25, 000 bottles of wine per annum, while its wedding venue hosts an average of 50/60 ceremonies per year. All staff have been retained following the takeover.
Mrs Davies is the former general manager and believes revenue can be boosted to £500,000. The couple's business plan includes constructing on site accommodation and providing live music and cinema events.
Samantha Davies said: "Lloyds Bank has taken the time to really get to know our business, and has been by our side and shared our passion for this project from the start.
“I’ve loved working in this stunning setting for the last seven years, and James and I are so excited about all the different areas of it with potential to develop to bring it even more to life.”
