The directors of Donnelly Hamilton Brent and business and tax advisers CW Fellowes have announced that they have agreed to merge their respective firms with effect from April 1, 2008.
CW Fellowes, based in Chandler's Ford, and Donnelly Hamilton Brent, based in Fareham, are highly regarded independent firms of Chartered Accountants. Both offices will be retained after the merger.
Bill Cuthbert, managing director, said: "That the compelling logic for the merger is that we want to be big enough to remain consistently reliable and sophisticated in terms of the range of professional services we offer but small enough to ensure that we retain the personal knowledge and individual client care that is so important.
"By merging the two firms together we will be able to keep pace with the increasing complexity and ever changing demands of our profession while remaining locally owned and locally managed."
