Dorset: Steele Raymond appoints new associate

Leading Dorset-based commercial law firm Steele Raymond LLP has appointed Lindsay Halliwell as associate.

Halliwell will join the firm’s family team, bringing with her a broad range of experience as a qualified family solicitor and mediator.

Through her previous employment at local firms, she has several years' experience in all aspects of family law and dispute resolution.

She specialises in providing legal advice for both the married and unmarried family including divorce, cohabitation, separation and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.

She also has significant experience in all matters regarding children: specifically contact, residence, prohibited steps orders and specific issues.

Additionally, Halliwell is a qualified mediator, allowing her to assist separated couples in reaching their own resolutions regarding childcare and financial matters. She has a real passion for understanding problems and working with families in conflict to achieve the right solution for them. She is a key member of Phoenix Mediation, a group of family mediators and solicitors who practise across the south coast.
