Sport-lover Roger Hann has retired after 13 years at HWB chartered accountants – and received a lifetime Hampshire Cricket Club membership as a thank you.

Hann has been a friendly face at HWB Chartered Accountants in Chandler's Ford since taking the role of practice manager in 2001.

He is a keen sports fan, qualified cricket umpire and regular visitor to The Ageas Bowl, and as a parting gift he was presented with a lifetime’s membership of Hampshire Cricket Club.

Hann has spent his entire working life in the accountancy industry, and the role of practice manager saw him working behind the scenes looking after administration and accounting for the firm.

Duties included preparation and management of the company’s accounts, payroll, looking after the administration of the building, and taking care of insurances and the employee healthcare and pension scheme.
