The Business Magazine looks forward to welcoming Thames Valley's top-tier business leaders to its TV Deals Awards at Reading FC Conference and Events on November 3.

The nomination process is now open and The Business Magazine welcomes applications for the Corporate Finance Team of the Year award.

You can find out about all categories and complete a nomination here.

The Corporate Finance Team of the Year award is sponsored by IBB Law. It will be presented to the team that has had the most significant impact on completion of deals within the region.

The qualifying period for the awards is for deals carried out between January 1 and December 31, 2021.

Adam Dowdney Partner, Corporate & Commercial and Head of IBB Thames Valley said: "IBB Law has been involved as a sponsor of the Thames Valley Deals Awards for five years. We recognised early on that it was to become one of the biggest deals events in the region and indeed it has.

"As a sponsor, we hope to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to the business community in the Thames Valley region.

"The event has become an annual firm favourite, and we look forward to celebrating the achievements of the corporate finance advisers, lawyers, bankers, private equity investors, accountants, and funding specialists that make us proud to be a part of this thriving deals community."

Adam continued: "This award is always a well contested category, with some extremely strong candidates with impressive deal doing credentials. The Thames Valley business community requires a strong corporate finance presence to ensure acquisition and disposal mandates are realised and transactions are run smoothly and efficiently, and are kept within the local Thames Valley professional community.

"We look for a team that has not only transacted a number of locally based deals, but has also looked to undertake some more complex and challenging mandates and a strong track record of getting deals across the line, in what has not always been an easy market over the last couple of years.

"This is a key category and we encourage as many of those CF teams out there to be nominated so we can properly judge who should win this much sought after award."
