Businesses across the South West and West Midlands make Sunday Times top 100 fastest growing companies list

Jeremy Clarkson's Hawkstone Brewery in Gloucestershire was the 24th fastest-growing company in the South West in this year's Sunday Times top 100 fastest growing companies list. The business grew by 142.88 per cent last year, with a turnover of £7.8 million.

The website describes Hawkstone as "the perfect blend of barley, belligerence and outright brewing skill".

At Number 39 in the listing is haircare brand Champo from Worcestershire (apparently - though our research shows that it's based in London - we will confirm this)

According to the company: Chämpo (pronounced shar-pour) is the Sanskrit origin of the word ‘shampoo'. Introduced to Britain from India over a century ago, this ancient practice of ‘cleansing, soothing and massaging the head and hair’ inspired our beginnings.

We create high performance formulas for a new generation of haircare consumer, combining ancient Ayurvedic principles with modern trichology and active botanicals to transform hair.

Others making the list from across the region include:

No 40: Moasure, motion-based measuring technology company based in Warwick

No 60: Vanaways, Online van retailer in Bristol

No 63: Heidi, Ski travel agency based in Bristol

No 70: Dynisma, automotive simulator developer, Bristol

No 81: Rowden Technologies, government technology developer, Bristol

No 88: Abbott Lyon, jewellery and accessories retailer, Bath

No 100: AYBL Group, sportswear and fashion brand, Redditch, Worcestershire
