Brighton-based business telecoms provider Rubix VT said it had acquired Peterborough-based YouTech Solutions as part of its ambitious growth strategy.

YouTech Solutions Limited offers hosted telephony and IT management services, including email hosting, anti-virus solutions, and 24/7 desktop and server monitoring.

It has seen consistent organic growth and has become well-established in and around Cambridgeshire.
Rubix VT said the deal provided it with an opportunity to extend its reach across the UK.

Founder and owner Nick Poyner said: "We are excited to acquire a successful business which has established a loyal customer base in both telecoms and IT.

"We are determined to continue the excellent work of Remo Poli and his team, and ensure all customers receive consistently high service levels.

"The acquisition of YouTech Solutions is part of our ambitious growth strategy which has seen us acquire four thriving telecoms businesses in under three years. Combined with our positive organic growth, Rubix VT is on an upward trajectory."

YouTech Solutions director Remo Poli added: "We are delighted to be working with Rubix VT to provide a broader range of telecom and IT solutions to our customers.

"Our clients will benefit from the support and expertise from a larger team, whilst retaining the consistency of the services previously supplied by my team and I."

The deal was completed thanks to consulting work of Rupert Rawcliffe from SRC Corporate Finance, with David Little from Bishop & Sewell LLP providing legal advice.

Rubix VT added that it was "actively seeking" further new acquisition opportunities.
