Law firm Gardner Leader is continuing to expand this summer with the appointment of international arbitration lawyer Noor Kadhim, as an additional partner in its dispute resolution team.

Kadhim brings over a decade’s experience in dispute resolution including international arbitration to Gardner Leader. She has worked in London, Paris, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, for clients based world-wide including in the US, Africa, Europe, and in the Arab world.

The firm has taken London office space where Kadhim is based. She will provide further expertise alongside partner Chris Felton, who leads the International Arbitration team, bringing the firm’s team of arbitration specialists to seven as its Dispute Resolution team continues to grow.

Kadhim’s specialist areas include international and commercial investment arbitration, litigation and art and cultural heritage law. Prior to joining Gardner Leader, she was head of international arbitration and art law at Cubism Law. Also fluent in French, Arabic and basic Italian, she qualified as an English solicitor in 2008. Her previous positions also include roles as deputy counsel at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, and an advisory role at a well-reputed global litigation funder based in the Isle of Man but working on mostly investment treaty arbitration matters from its London base.

She has advised clients across a range of sectors including energy, shareholder disputes and commercial matters, basic intellectual property and licensing, and financial services. In the specialist area of art and cultural heritage law, she has represented gallerists, artists, institutions and collectors on title disputes to general commercial (including contractual) matters including licensing and IP matters.

Her arrival follows the recent appointments of Hannah Davies, corporate and commercial solicitor, and Clare King, solicitor in the commercial property team bringing Gardner Leader’s workforce to over 130, including 20 partners.
