Banbury: Brethertons wins Chambers' accolades

Brethertons has enhanced its credentials as a leading law firm according to the independent legal ‘bible’ Chambers UK 2011.

Five senior experts were recognised as ‘Leaders in their Field’ by Chambers UK, the UK’s leading legal research directory.

The Chambers Guide, widely regarded as the most authoritative guide to the legal profession in the UK, is compiled after detailed research over a six month period including thousands of telephone and face-to-face meetings with clients and other of law firms. It ranks law firms and lawyers in 70 legal specialist areas, rankings are based on technical legal ability, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment and the other qualities that are most valued by clients.

Among those recognised, the following have been singled out as leaders in their fields: Sioban Calcott for her work within the field of Litigation, Edward Bible for his specialist expertise in Insolvency, Shaun Jardine for his expert mediation work, Mary Anderson for her in-depth experience in commercial property and commercial secured lending and Simon Craddock in the specialist Child Abduction area.

The Chambers Guide 2011 will be published in October of this year.

Brethertons has recently been recognised by winning no less than five awards for: Best use of IT and Communications Award – Coventry Telegraph Awards, Solicitor of the Year – News on the Block Magazine, Young Professional of the Year – News on the Block Magazine, Litigation Team of the Year - Credit Today Magazine and Lifetime Achievement Award at the Rugby Business Awards.
