Crossland Employment Solicitors has promoted senior associate Barry Ross to the position of director at its Milton Park based offices.
Ross joined Crossland Employment Solicitors in 2011 and brought with him five years of experience in employment law, including working in-house for a major legal expenses insurance provider.
Managing director Beverley Sunderland said: "Barry's experience from both sides of the employment law fence has provided a significant advantage to our corporate clients, especially when advising on employment tribunal claims as he knows what the other side are likely to be advising their client.
"Since joining us, Barry has been instrumental in growing our client base and ensuring our clients receive practical and commercial advice on a range of complex issues including discrimination, unfair dismissal, breach of contract, TUPE, whistle-blowing and large scale redundancies. His promotion to director is a reflection of his hard work and loyalty to the firm."
Outside of work, Ross is a keen sportsman, playing table tennis and golf to a very high standard and enjoys raising money for his favourite charities, Free Kicks Foundation and Kidney Research UK.
