Abingdon-based law firm, Migrate UK, is furthering its growth ahead of Brexit with the appointment of the qualified paralegal, Judit Adorjan, as immigration consultant.
Based in Milton Park and Tianjin, China, Migrate UK specialises solely in immigration law for organisations and individuals. With the significant delay to the Brexit deal, the firm has seen a major increase in enquiries from both skilled EU professionals and employers concerned about their workers’ futures.
Adorjan has a bachelor’s degree in law and obtained her paralegal diploma after two years of study with The National Association of Licensed Paralegals. She will assist Migrate UK with immigration casework across a range of immigration routes including non-EEA, points based, sponsorship, family life applications, as well as helping to advise EU nationals on their immigration status, especially those wishing to safeguard their future in the UK using settled status, permanent residence or naturalisation.
Adorjan is also fluent in German, Spanish, Romanian and Hungarian. Jonathan Beech, managing director, Migrate UK, commented: “Judit’s appointment is very timely as the current Brexit deadline draws closer and the demand for our services is higher than ever. Many local firms still worry about retaining skilled EU workers and the possible difficulties in hiring under a new immigration system from 2021, while EU workers themselves are concerned about their status, especially in the light of a likely exit.
“We provide organisations and employees with the latest advice and support needed according to their individual circumstances - whatever the final outcome reached by the Government.”
