The Business Magazine-staged, UBS-sponsored Thames Valley Deals Awards returns on November 3.

Among the accolades handed out on the evening will be the Thames Valley Private Equity Firm of the Year award. The Business Magazine is now accepting submissions for consideration for this and other awards.

The Private Equity Firm of the Year award is sponsored by HMT Corporate Finance LLP.

The Business Magazine is delighted to once again partner with long-term supporters of the Thames Valley Deals Awards, HMT LLP.

Andrew Thomson, Managing Partner, HMT LLP: "HMT is the Thames Valley’s longest established corporate finance boutique and is celebrating its 30th anniversary in the region.

"We have been fully committed to the Thames Valley corporate finance market throughout the economic cycles of the last 30 years and as part of this commitment we have been sponsoring the Thames Valley Deal Awards since its inception by David Murray and his team at The Business Magazine."

Entrants can be Thames Valley or London based, providing the deal was within the region i.e ‘on patch.’

Details of the eligibility area can be found on our qualifying region map here.

Andrew said: "Private equity is so important to deal flow in the region and we are looking for private equity firms who have contributed significantly to the development of the region in the past 12 months whether investing in local businesses or through exits.

"This is a great opportunity for private equity houses to show their commitment to the Thames Valley and highlight their recent transactions to the corporate finance community."

The annual celebration of Thames Valley business deals will be held at Reading FC Conference and Event Centre based at the Select Car Leasing Stadium in Reading.

As is customary the black tie event will attract business leaders from across the region, including corporate finance advisers, lawyers, bankers, private equity investors, accountants, and funding specialists, and of course the management teams that have closed the deals.

Awards can not be made without members of the business community nominating deals for consideration. Completing a nomination is quick and free and can be found here...
