Worcestershire Innovation, WINN has appointed award-winning digital and creative agency, Conteur, as its  communications partner.

The pioneering programme, WINN, created by Worcestershire County Council and other innovators in the region, has recently appointed Conteur to spearhead their creative digital communications focused on engaging Worcestershire’s innovative business community.

Conteur has built a market-leading reputation in a handful of key sectors including technology and health & social care, which will be key in helping WINN to promote its flagship ‘Make it Happen’ challenge through 2021. This year, the challenge is focused on finding and supporting two innovative businesses, one in Health & Care and the other in Science & Technology, with prizes worth £15,000 on offer for each of the winners.

WINN are also keen to get as many people as possible involved with their newly developed innovation platform, where organisations can share best practice, discuss challenges and collaborate effectively on projects.

David Huckerby, Founder of Conteur, commented: “We’re incredibly proud and excited to be working with WINN through 2021. With businesses facing so many external challenges, it is more important than ever to innovate and evolve.

"The Innovation Platform, in particular, offers a fantastic opportunity to communicate with like-minded organisations, which is so valuable with so many people working remotely and flexibly at the moment.”

Jess Antley, WINN Project Manager, said:“WINN is able to offer so many opportunities, from grants to business support as well as channels that really highlight the amazing innovation strengths we have in the County.  We look forward to working with Conteur to continue to build a thriving, supportive innovative ecosystem that connects like-minded individuals whom are naturally curious, passionate about Worcestershire and take delight in gaining and sharing knowledge”

WINN has focused on supporting and showcasing innovation within the Worcestershire region.

Launching in Spring will be their latest, MAKE IT HAPPEN challenge, targeting the Worcestershire Innovation Community, encouraging local businesses to engage with their innovation platform and benefit from the business support available to them.
