Worcester based Mann Broadbent insurance brokers are celebrating their 60th year in business, as one of the UK’s leading providers of sport, dance and leisure insurance.

The company was established in 1961 by Bob Mann and Bob Broadbent.

Duncan Sutcliffe, Managing Director at Mann Broadbent explains, “We are absolutely delighted to be celebrating our 60thanniversary. So much has changed since the business started but one thing that is still the same and that is the passion we have for providing a personal service, where we really care about our clients. Now we support such a wide range of individuals and organisations from sports clubs to climbing centres, to axe throwing and triathlon events… the list is endless!”

Duncan adds, “As the industry is getting back on it’s feet, so too we are experiencing a high demand for our services. This has been echoed in the successful launch of our new insurance policy in June and we will continue to announce new services in 2022, to further support the recovery of the sports, dance and leisure industry.”

Founder Bob Mann was a keen footballer and later as a Football League, F.I.F.A. and Olympic Games’ referee and an administrator at County F.A. level. Whilst Bob Broadbent’s background was in cricket and for many years, a regular first eleven batsman with Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
