Woking's Vision Engineering welcomes new managing director
Woking-based manufacturer Vision Engineering, which designs and makes stereo optical and digital instruments, said Sam Crossley, an experienced executive, has been appointed as managing director.
Crossley was previously a member of the senior leadership team at Rotork, which has over 3,700 employees in 39 countries and serves customers in over 170 countries.

He has an in depth market knowledge in oil and gas, petrochemical, mining and automation, specialising in engineered technical products including mechanicals seals, pumps, valves and fluid control sectors, said Vision Engineering.
His international experience includes steering company growth in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Russia, Europe, Africa and North America.
Crossley said: "What appealed most about joining the team at Vision Engineering was the idea of leading an innovative technology company with such a long and distinguished history.
"There are plenty of exciting opportunities to grow the business, and I will be focussing on these over the coming years. Vision Engineering has a well-deserved brand and reputation and I’m delighted to be leading it into its next phase of global growth."
Mark Curtis, current managing director will continue to head the board of Vision Engineering Group as CEO, focusing on strategic development and the wider group growth opportunities.
