Witney car lease business pivots to focus on electric vehicles

When the pandemic hit in March 2020, Red Kite Leasing saw their business impacted very severely.

Owner Ben Fleetwood decided to use the opportunity to look to re-launch his business as an electric vehicle leasing company, ‘Your E-Car’.

Having originally started his business to fulfil the need for a car lease company that offered a tailored consultation service, the shift being made towards electric vehicles and in particular, the move by Oxford City Council to become the first city to adopt a zero-emission zone in 2021, motivated Ben to move into the electric car market.

Ben said: ‘There are many assumptions made about electric vehicles such as, they are expensive, they don’t have a very long range and that there are not enough charging points.  However, the government aim to move to electric cars has meant the technology and infrastructure has developed at pace, resulting in a significant decline in costs to the consumer in both leasing and maintenance, fuel and upkeep.’

Your E-Car is now offering a free consultancy service to help drivers find the best car and payment options to suit their circumstances. The business has access to all makes and models of car and its network of vehicle dealers will deliver vehicles  anywhere in the mainland UK.

The company says it caters for all needs and can arrange contract hire agreements for individuals looking for their next new car lease, personal or business.
