Weybridge-based chartered accountants MGI Midgley Snelling LLP and Staines-based chartered accountants Lawford Business Services have merged, with effect from May 1.
The combined firm now operates from the Weybridge offices of MGI Midgley Snelling LLP, under that name.
The directors of Lawford Business Services, Tony Redknap and Sarah Squires, have become partners of MGI Midgley Snelling alongside Stephen Yeates, Jonathan Farrow, James Beecher and Tracey Wickens.
The firms have been connected for more than 30 years with Tony Redknap and founding partners of Lawford Business Services having previously worked at what is now MGI Midgley Snelling.
Stephen Yeates, managing partner at MGI Midgley Snelling, said: “Clients will benefit from a greater combined pool of expertise including Lawford Business Services Audit, Assurance and Tax knowledge, and clients of Lawford Business Services will benefit from MGI Midgley Snelling’s membership of the MGI Worldwide global accountancy network."
