Welcome to the New Year. And what a doozie it’s going to be. One way or another, 2019 is going to be a year we all remember.
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, recharged your batteries, watched Love Actually and The Great Escape (again), visited relatives who think you only appear once a year, didn’t quite eat your own weight in turkey or nut roast (or drink your weight in gin, wine or whisky), and are raring to go. The Business & Innovation Team did all those things - and more.
We’re looking forward to 2019 because whatever happens, business needs to know what’s happening regionally as well as nationally. There are opportunities here for the taking, if you know what’s happening around you.
And like Baden-Powell's scouts and guides, we're prepared.......pause for a bit of smugness ....
We packed up the sparkly decorations a bit early last week and headed into the offices to plan for six rip-roaring issues this year, as well as putting more va-va-voom into our daily news website so you don’t miss an opportunity or some news which might benefit your business.
Get in touch if you have a story or want to know what we’re up to this year so you can get involved. We’ve got lots of things planned to help businesses discover new clients and customers, meet fellow professionals and showcase their expertise and knowledge. Most importantly we will continue to support and reveal what's really going on in all the fantastic businesses which have based themselves in this region.
Remember the fantastic Frank Sinatra song:
And whatever happens on March 29, remember it’s just two days before April Fools Day.
