On February 13, Buckinghamshire Business First, in association with the Green Deal Together Community Interest Company, is holding an event to encourage tradespeople in the South East to become accredited Green Deal installers.
The event is free and takes place at the Lambert Arms Hotel in Watlington from 16.30pm to 7pm and will give tradespeople the opportunity to find out more about how to become Green Deal accredited and how they can benefit from this opportunity.
Attendees will meet the team from Green Deal Together, engage with manufacturers and potential partners and learn about the accreditation process.
The Green Deal helps home owners and businesses to make energy saving improvements to their properties. These can include insulation, heating, draught proofing, double glazing or renewable energy.
COO Tom Whitehead explained: "Green Deal Together Community Interest Company is owned by a consortium of local authorities throughout the south and east and is developing a network of local Green Deal installers in the area."
