Vision Engineering expands UK operations

Woking-based manufacturer Vision Engineering has acquired precision engineering firm Milturn Precision Engineering for an undisclosed fee.

Vision, who specialise in optical and digital instrumentation equipment, were advised on the deal by regional accountancy and business advisory firm Azets UK.

Mark Curtis, Vision Engineering CEO, said: “The strategic acquisition of Milturn Precision Engineering strengthens Vision Engineering’s global manufacturing capability and improves our ability to deliver high quality precision manufactured parts, assemblies and finished products to our combined existing and new customers.“

Founded in 1958 and wholly British owned, Vision Engineering’s Global HQ, design and manufacturing facilities are based in Woking, Surrey, with extensive manufacturing facilities across the rest of the UK and the US.

They manufacture patented ergonomic stereo optical and digital instruments used for inspection, manipulation, measurement and analysis of manufactured parts manufacturers across the world.

Milturn is a privately owned sub contract machine shop, founded in 2001, who specialise in turned and milled components. They serve a range of industries including film, seagoing marine, automotive, and high end shop and hotel fitting.
