Tottenham Hotspur prepare to bid for key Southampton FC target Tino Livramento
Tottenham Hotspur have increased their interested in Southampton FC defender Tino Livramento, according to reports.
Spurs have made preliminary enquiries about the right wing back as they look to continue to build out a squad that can play under Antonio Conte’s system.
Football Insider reports that the 19 year-old is a key signing target for Tottenham Hotspur with the club's managing director Fabio Paratici understood to have made an approach.
Livramento has been a regular under Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl since joining Southampton.
He has started 20 Premier League matches among 24 appearances in all competitions, and been the first choice for the entire campaign.
Reports emerging earlier this month suggest Livramento is also being watched by Manchester United scouts
The 19 year-old is being monitored by the Old Trafford club having put in a string of impressive performances this season following his move from Chelsea according to Italian publication Calcio Mercato.
Southampton FC signed right back Tino Livramento from Chelsea last season for a fee of £5m with the Stamford Bridge club inserting a buyback option of £40m.
Livramento left Chelsea after entering the final year of his contract and failing to negotiate an extension at Stamford Bridge.
The Croydon-born star is eligible to play for Portugal but has represented England at U15, U16, U17, U18, U19 and U21 levels.
