The Business Magazine and India Business Group announce partnership to promote business between the Solent and India

The Business Magazine has today announced a strategic partnership with Hampshire-based India Business Group.

As the seventh round of an ambitious free trade agreement being negotiated between the UK and India, and India taking the reins for the G20 for 2023, the opportunity to develop strong business ties between the two nations has never been stronger. 

The partnership has been formed with three initial goals in mind:

  • To raise awareness of market trends and emerging business opportunities between regional businesses and India
  • To create opportunities and links for ambitious businesses to connect, network and unlock opportunities between the vibrant South East region of England and India
  • To facilitate international trade and accelerate inward investment into the region.

Regional Business Trade Mission 

One of the Flagship and timely initiatives being explored through the partnership is the mounting of a bespoke regional trade mission visit to key business hubs in India for knowledge exchange and the co-creation of trading relationships. This will include the region’s key sectors such as aerospace, marine, defence and knowledge intense industries. 

Richard Thompson, Chief Executive of Black Ox the owners of The Business Magazine commented, “We have a unique opportunity to support our business audience through creating opportunities such as these. We have spoken to business leaders of private companies from the Solent 250 and Thames Valley 250 programmes and we know that this is something they are keen to pursue.
