Thames Valley: WK Law seminars go from strength to strength
Nearly 50 partners from 34 law firms around Surrey and Berkshire were booked in to WK Law’s breakfast briefing held by Wilkins Kennedy LLP Chartered Accountants last month at the Foxhills Resort in Surrey. The event was the latest in a series of seminars and included presentations by Wilkins Kennedy’s specialists Tommy White, Jemima Jones, Matthew Hall and Linda Penny.
The topics covered at the seminar were an update on the Solicitors Regulatory Authority and the SRA Accounts Rules, tax planning ahead of the end of the tax year, tax treatment of termination and redundancy payments, and changes to pensions and the new ‘RDR’ financial advice rules.
The event had extremely positive feedback with comments from delegates ranging from “excellent” to “as well run as ever!”
Kevin Walmsley, managing partner at the Egham office, commented: “Our WK Law seminars continue to go from strength-to-strength, with an ongoing growth in numbers and new firms attending. We believe this is testimony to the quality of the presentations and the nature of the forum and venue”.
All WK Law events are CPD accredited with the Solicitors Regulation Authority. If you would like to attend a future seminar email [email protected] or contact Jemima Jones on 01784-435561
