Wilson Partners Corporate Finance acted for the shareholders on the sale of Solsis to Candela Enterprises. The deal value was not disclosed.
Founded in 1996, Solsis is a managed services provider with a well-established services portfolio encompassing IT support, cloud computing, managed services, technical and consulting services and technology-solutions and procurement services. It is a provider primarily for small and medium-sized businesses throughout the south.
The shareholders required both a capital exit and a home for the business as part of a similar, larger organisation to give the business scale and ability to service an ever-growing client base.
Graham Stead, MD of Solsis who will continue as part of the management team of the enlarged business, said: “We were delighted to have had Wilson Partners in our corner to lead us throughout.”
Bob Brittaine, chairman of Candela Enterprises, commented: “Having already acquired Amicitia we sought a company with a strong client base, innovative service and a South East geography that complemented our own.”
Adam Wardle, head of corporate finance at Wilson Partners, added: "Another Thames Valley success story and I’m very pleased for the Solsis shareholders.”
