Accountants and business advisers James Cowper Kreston, which has offices across the Thames Valley, has strengthened its corporate tax team with the appointment of Margaret Savory who was previously at the Reading office of BDO.
She has considerable experience in advising entrepreneurial and fast-growing businesses on all aspects of their corporate tax affairs. Her clients include companies at all stages of growth, from small owner-managed start-ups and large private-equity back businesses to AIM list companies.
She has a particular interest in and focus on life-science and technology businesses across the Thames Valley, where her knowledge and understanding of the favourable research and development tax-credit and paten-box regimes is welcomed.
Robert Holland, James Cowper Kreston’s managing partner, said: “She is highly respected across the Thames Valley, advising some of our region’s most exciting companies. She brings a wealth of experience, having worked around the world, and I look forward to the contribution she will make.”
James Cowper Kreston has in the past five years twice won Tax Team of the Year at the British Accountancy Awards, and has again this year been short-listed for the prestigious award.
