Duncan Lamb has joined BDO as a corporate finance partner leading the M&A team in the South. He has over 20 years experience of completing mid-market deals and has been based in the Thames Valley for the past 19 years, where he is regarded as being one of the most active advisers in the region.

Whilst growing a generalist M&A business, Duncan has spent the past 10 years building an outstanding reputation for focusing on technology and specialist engineering deals, with many of his transactions being private equity based.

Having led a multi-award-winning team at Grant Thornton, BDO said it was "delighted that he can bring his mid-market expertise" to the growing BDO corporate finance team.

BDO’s lead partner for the Thames Valley, Simon Brooker commented: “Duncan’s arrival represents a superb opportunity for us to continue to grow our corporate finance capability in the South and to focus on building a strong local team to deliver both national and international deals.”

Lamb commented: “I am excited to be joining a very dynamic and driven team that has a clear vision of how to build a really strong business. This is a great opportunity for me to continue to work in a fantastic local market place, with a great business community.

“Despite the potentially uncertain environment, I am looking forward to re-engaging with many friends and colleagues in the coming weeks and months, to build a strong pipeline of business to help the local economy grow.”
