Thames Valley: Deals Awards postponed due to coronavirus

The Thames Valley Deals Awards, due to take place at the Madejski Stadium, Reading, on March 26, has now been postponed to the autumn.

Event organiser The Business Magazine has decided that, due to the ongoing uncertainty over coronavirus, it is in the best interests of all concerned that the awards dinner is delayed until October 5.

"The health and wellbeing of guests, sponsors and employees is paramount. These are difficult times, and we don't take the decision to postpone the event lightly. The Deals Awards is always a well-attended and popular event, and we have no doubt the corporate finance community will support our decision," said The Business Magazine managing director David Murray.

All table bookings and sponsorships will be honoured for the new date, October 5.

"The judging has already taken place and the finalists announced, so we know we are set for a great night in October."
