Thames Valley: CLEAN appoints Myra Tourick as chief people officer
Leading laundry supplier CLEAN has appointed Myra Tourick as chief people officer.
Tourick has been appointed to the role permanently, following two months as interim chief people officer and will be responsible for leading the development of CLEAN’s 1,450-strong workforce. She will also help devise people and development strategies as well as create an overall HR vision for the company.
She joined CLEAN with over 20 years’ experience working in human resources management. For many years she worked in the hotel industry where she managed HR at a number of prestigious properties, including Cliveden and Crowne Plaza London St James.
Tourick was director of human resources at engineering company Imtech Traffic & Infra UK & Ireland (now Dynniq) for almost six years before setting up HR consultancy Toucan HRin 2015.
She said: “I have really enjoyed working with CLEAN as an interim and am thrilled to be joining permanently. I will work closely with the teams at our seven sites to ensure that HR is able to both support and enable the business.”
CLEAN chief financial officer Kevin Godley said: “We have been lucky to have Myra’s experience and skills over the past two months and have really benefited from her professionalism and approach. We are now looking forward to working with her on a permanent basis.”
