Thames Valley accountants Chantrey Vellacott has been named as one of the top 25 private client accountancy firms in the UK.

eprivateclient, the leading website and news service for private client practitioners, compiles its league table following a survey of more than 100 private client firms across the UK.

The rankings are based on five categories: the number of partners, number of fee earners, total staff, fee income and private client fee income as a percentage of total firm income.

Chantrey Vellacott, which has its Thames Valley offices on Queens Road in Reading, has been included in the prestigious rankings for the second year running.

Debbie Ince, head of the private client group at Chantrey Vellacott, said: “We’re really pleased to have once again been recognised as one of the top private client practitioners in the UK.

“Private client work is an important area of the business for the firm and we are continuing to strengthen our support for clients through a range of proactive tax planning solutions.

“Our private client team is hugely experienced and highly regarded, and being listed in these respected rankings is testament to the success the group is achieving for our clients.”
