Thames Valley: Bibby Financial Services appoints Jonathan Charsley as head of sales

Bibby Financial Services (BFS) has appointed Jonathan Charsley to head of sales in the Thames Valley area to grow its funding support for fast-growing SMEs in the region.

Charsley brings a wealth of experience after having worked at BFS for over 11 years in a variety of roles in the business. Before he was appointed to his new position he was a business development manager in London and the South East.

Charsley will now lead a team of six, tasked with growing BFS’s presence in the Thames Valley to help provide local businesses with the funding they need to grow.

Charsley said: “Thames Valley is home to a diverse range of SMEs, and Bibby Financial Services is in a great position to support more businesses in the area after having expanded its product capabilities. BFS has significantly developed its corporate funding capability in the past few years to include stock finance, foreign exchange and asset finance, meaning that we can now unlock more funding to help businesses grow.”

Gary Davis, regional sales director for the south at BFS, said: “Jonathan has a wealth of experience in working with businesses in the South East, so his expertise and pre-existing network in the area made him a perfect match for the job. SMEs in the Thames Valley are thriving, and we want to continue to build our presence in this enterprise hot spot to ensure they have access to the funding they need to thrive.”
