Leading South East law firm, Barlow Robbins LLP has advised long-standing client Matrix Display Systems in the sale of the company to Audio Visual Machines Ltd (AVM).
Matrix, based in Surrey, London and Birmingham, is the number one leading provider of audio visual services in the UK education sector, and also has a significant client base made up of corporate and public organisations. It is also the main supplier of audio visual systems integrators (AVSI) in services to the Ministry of Defense.
With this latest acquisition, the combined AVM Group is now the largest AVSI in the UK with a turnover of £45 million. The company employs more than 250 staff across the South East, Bristol, Leeds, Birmingham and Scotland.
Barlow Robbins is Matrix’s main legal adviser and has previously advised the company on a wide range of corporate law. Barlow Robbins advised the shareholders on the sale of their shares in Matrix’s holding company.
