A Stratford-upon-Avon telecoms has been sold to COM Group Telecom after falling into administration.
COM Group, which specialises in telecom surveying and auditing, experienced a major downturn in survey and design work following the impact of COVID-19.
Brett Barton, director of BLB Advisory, was appointed as the administrator last month and the business sale was completed shortly afterwards.
Former COM Group employee, Jim Hawksworth bought the business and its assets out of administration.
He has now set up COM Group Telecom, saving 21 employees from redundancy.

I am confident that we have the perfect recipe to be the number one mobile telecoms survey company in the industry through the continued delivery of excellent service to all our customers.”
Brett Barton, director of BLB Advisory Limited, added: “I am delighted that we have been able to save the jobs of all 21 employees and that the business has been protected by a sale to a third party. I would like to thank The Wilkes Partnership LLP and Hilco for their assistance in securing a great outcome for the business.”
