Marine interior refurbishment specialist Trimline has appointed Colin Stapley as business development manager to head-up its new catering department which will offer design, sales, installation and maintenance of catering equipment for galleys, pantries and laundries.

Stapley joins Trimline after managing Kempsafe, a marine catering company, for the past five years.

Gary Oliver, managing director at Trimline, said: “The addition of a catering department will allow us to offer greater support and service to the cruise, ferry, offshore, defence and super yacht industries. Trimline is continuing to respond to the industry’s needs and the expertise Colin will bring to this role will help us to add even more value to our work.”

This development will see Trimline growing the services it offers to clients just two months after adding an electrical department to the Southampton-based business.

Trimline has seen an unprecedented level of growth over the past 24 months and the expansion into catering marks another milestone for the company in the build-up to its 50th anniversary in 2015.
