Three Southampton-based lawyers from national law firm Bond Dickinson have been praised for their outstanding work in the Acritas Stars Database and Report, an independent guide to globally-recommended lawyers.

Graham Jeffries, partner and banking and finance expert, is one of only six UK lawyers to be ranked in the Acritas Stars Top 30 global ranking with three distinct recommendations from clients.

In addition, Sebastian Briggs, partner in the corporate team, and Cole Stacey, associate in the banking and finance team, have both been recognised following outstanding client feedback. Overall, nine of Bond Dickinson's lawyers have been included in the report.

The Acritas Stars database has been compiled through interviews with nearly 4,000 general counsel and other senior leaders at legal departments around the world. The report forms part of the broader legal-market insights survey called Sharplegal which Acritas conducts every year. Bond Dickinson regularly ranks amongst the Top 20 firms in the survey.

Jon Hales, partner and head of Bond Dickinson's Southampton office, said: "Technical excellence, attention to detail and astuteness are all terms that were used by clients to describe our lawyers. We're proud of the talent held within our firm and having the team described in such complimentary terms by clients is a tribute to all their hard work, commitment and professionalism."

Bond Dickinson was also named as a Best Legal Adviser in Legal Week's Best Legal Adviser Report 2016-17, which ranked the firm as a top-five law firm for innovation, highlighting its commitment to driving innovative projects.
