The South Coast office of Smith & Williamson, the accountancy, investment management and tax group, hosted its latest Food for Thought lunch club at St Marys Stadium, Southampton, on Thursday September 22. The topic for discussion was “Brexit – what’s next?” and thoughts were shared on grants, commercial property, currency and exchange, taxation, inflation, deflation and interest rates.

Greg Palfrey, national head of restructuring and recovery at Smith & Williamson, highlighted the topic: “There is so much uncertainty and potential for change; what are the issues that affect businesses in the short term, and how can they continue to operate and be successful?”
